The National Broad for Professional Teaching Standards is a voluntary organization that started in 1987. I looked on the sit and find the content knowledge areas that relate to my Physical Education the content area includes the following points:
Motor learning
Biomechanics
Scientific exercise principles
Safety, equity and fairness
Integration of Physical Education with other subjects (like cross curriculum instruction)
Technology
